All applicants need to meet AUT’s minimum entry requirements qualification equivalent to New Zealand year 13 or University Entrance.
Must be capable of meeting Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act) requirements and Vulnerable Children’s Act (VCA Act), including police clearance
Applicants with two or more years of secondary and/or tertiary education outside New Zealand must meet IELTS requirements and will be interviewed.

Preference will be given to applicants with the highest level of academic achievement and/or evidence of accomplishments in the relevant field

One subject from Classical Studies, Drama, English, Geography, Health Education, History, History of Art, Media Studies, Social Studies or Te Reo M?ori or Te Reo Rangatira and one subject from Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Physics, Science or Calculus, Mathematics, Statistics.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.5 or higher; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; GIE with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
